It started in a garage.
Tommy Rysholt Andersen, an engineer from North Jutland, began building low-pressure cleaning stations in a garage in Nørresundby. Low-pressure cleaning is a Danish invention, and he set out to make it simpler.
Low-pressure cleaning for food and beverage producers.
Foamico builds cleaning systems with fewer parts, less water and less chemical. Designed and assembled in Nørresundby, Denmark, in daily service in 70 countries.

Every station is drawn, assembled and tested at our own facility in Nørresundby, Denmark, by the people who will later service it. That is how we keep the promise in the name: Clean Simplicity.
Simplicity is a design decision, not a finish. Every station is drawn and tested here, by engineers who know the factory floor.
The blocks are cast in one piece and the operation is mechanical. We assemble and test every unit before it leaves the building.
Spare parts, service agreements and operator training are part of the delivery. Our first stations are still in daily service.
Foamico started in 2009 with one engineer and one idea: cleaning should be simple. Today 29 of us in Nørresundby build low-pressure cleaning systems for food plants all over the world.

The Next technology is launched. One handle for every step, cast blocks, mechanical operation. Stations from those first years are still in daily service today.

South Korea, Australia and Switzerland were among the first countries to put Foamico on their factory walls.
A decade in business, celebrated with customers, partners and neighbours in Nørresundby.
One of the five largest suppliers of low-pressure cleaning for industry. Still designed, built and tested in Nørresundby. Next stop: South America.
Foamico is still run by the people who built it. Tommy started it in a garage in 2009, and today he and Kevin lead a team of 29 in Nørresundby.
Meet the whole team

Making things more difficult than they are will not lead to a better future. The industry is under pressure from every direction, and our answer is not more features. It is fewer. Try it yourself.
Trust is at the core of what we do. Real values show in what you do day to day, not in what you write on a website.
No hidden caveats in the quote, no surprises at commissioning. We keep our promises, and we stand by the people we work with.
When two solutions work equally well, we pick the one with fewer parts. It costs us features on the datasheet and saves the customer downtime.
A cleaning system is not a delivery, it is a relationship that has to hold for twenty years. Spare parts, service and training are part of it from day one.

Simplicity is engineering, not atmosphere.
Making things more difficult than they are will not lead to a better future.
The food and beverage industry is under pressure from several directions at once. Competition demands relentless attention to the bottom line, while the requirements around sustainability, food safety and working environment keep moving.
Our answer is not more features. It is fewer. A stand-in on night shift can learn the station in five minutes, and that is the reason it still runs ten years from now.
Behind every station is a farm, a family table and a planet our children will grow up on. That is who we work for, every shift.

It begins with a farmer and animals raised with care. A clean line keeps that care intact all the way to the table.

Families who never think about hygiene, because they never have to. That trust is earned on the factory floor.

Less water, less chemical and stations that run for decades. More left for the next generation.

We are what you see

Simple over clever
When two solutions work equally well, we pick the one with fewer parts. It costs us features on the datasheet and saves the customer downtime.
We stay after commissioning
A cleaning system is not a delivery, it is a relationship that has to hold for twenty years. Spare parts, service and training are part of it from day one.

Technology with purpose.
We combine engineering, insight from the factory floor and practical simplicity into systems that hold up in the most demanding environments. They are designed to optimise the hygiene process, cut cleaning time and reduce resource use, without compromising on safety or reliability.
We work closely with our customers on solutions that fit their needs, their facility layout and the regulations they answer to.
Built on trust. Proven in practice.
The people who buy our systems tend to stay. These are their words, not ours.
“Foamico doesn't just provide equipment, they craft solutions. They didn't just meet the client's scope and specifications, they exceeded them. It is this dedication to customer satisfaction that secured my order and earned my trust.”
Joseph Lincicum

“A key strength of the system is the simplicity of its design. The mechanical operation and robust cast blocks in the satellites make the equipment highly reliable in daily use and easier to maintain than competing systems.”

Questions we are frequently asked.
Can't find your answer? Call +45 2250 3900.
Where are Foamico systems made?
Every system is designed and assembled at our own facility in Nørresundby, Denmark. We build and test the station before it leaves the building, so what arrives on site has already run.
Do you sell directly or through partners?
Both. We deliver directly in Denmark and work with trained distributors in 70 countries. Either way, the engineering, the spare parts and the service come from the same place.
How long does a Foamico system last?
Our oldest stations have been in daily service for more than twenty years. The mechanical design is the reason. There is very little in a satellite that can fail, and what can be replaced takes minutes.
What happens after commissioning?
We train the people who will use the system, and we stay reachable afterwards. Spare parts, service agreements and operator training are part of the delivery, not something we sell you later.
Want to see it in your plant?
Let's talk about your plant.
Tell us what you clean, how often and with how many people. We will tell you what a Foamico system would look like, and what it would save.
